Tokyo MX has recently launched an official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's manga "Hyakushou Kizoku" and unveiled the main cast and staff members, along with the key visual and the ending theme. The anime is set to premiere on July 7, 2023, at 9:54 p.m. on Tokyo MX.
The cast includes Mutsumi Tamura as Hiromu Arakawa, Mariko Honda as Ishii, Shigeru Chiba as Father, and Kujira as Mother. Yuutaro Sawada will serve as the director, scriptwriter, and episode director, while Ayane Matsumoto will be in charge of character design, animation direction, and animation. The background art will be handled by Ari, and Minori Yamada will be responsible for the ending animation. Precious Tone will compose the music, and the Central Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Japan will supervise the agriculture aspect of the anime. The studio Pie in the Sky will produce the series.
FRAM, known for performing the ending theme song for "Itai no wa Iya nanode Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu. 2," will sing the ending theme for "Hyakushou Kizoku."
"Hyakushou Kizoku" is a slice of life manga series that Hiromu Arakawa began serializing in Shinshokan's Un Poco magazine in December 2006, before transferring to Wings in July 2009. The story follows a noble farmer and his family, and their daily life on the farm. The seventh volume was released in October 2021.
